Membership in MSPS is open to persons interested in the land surveying profession. Membership is divided into the following categories:

• RLS Member: Any person who is a Professional Surveyor in the State of Missouri, and whose registration is in full effect.
• Corporate Member: Any company, partnership, or corporation who practices surveying in the State of Missouri, and whose registration is in full effect.
• Associate Member: Any person with an interest in the profession of Land Surveying, who is not a Professional Surveyor.
• Sustaining Member: Any person or firm engaged in a business related to Land Surveying and who is interested in the advancement of the Land Surveying Profession.
• Retired Member: A Professional Surveyor who is retired, who has attained the age of 62 and who has been a member of MSPS for at least 10 years.
• Student Member: Any person age 17 or over, currently enrolled in high school or college for not less than 36 weeks of the year and who has an interest in Land Surveying.
